Biocatalysis
We conduct research projects in biocatalysis aimed at identifying new enzymes with strong application potential through the exploration of biodiversity. In synergy with our FunDivEx platform (biodiversity mining, gene cloning, activity screening), we combine exploration of living resources with experimental validation.
Our strategy integrates advanced bioinformatics tools, including structural bioinformatics, to accelerate the discovery and characterization of enzymes catalyzing reactions of interest.
